Frequently Asked Questions.
Info about me, my art and music stuff

Question 01
Who's That Girl?
Hi! I'm Sabrina! How are you?

Oh, you wanna know a bit about me? Sure!

Well, I'm from Hamburg, Germany, and work as visual artist. There's two hearts pounding in my chest: Art and music.
Starting out specializing in fantasy art, I soon noticed that I need the connection to my second love, music, in my work. That is why I decided to move towards creating art specifically for musicians.

Oh, and I make music, of course!
I love all kinds of genres, but mainly I'm into Rock, Prog, Funk and Jazz. A few favorite bands are Toto, Santana, Supertramp, Genesis, Ghost Note or Silk Sonic. But there's so much more epic stuff out there...
Question 02
What's your gear?
Already waited for the gear question!
Watercolor, acrylics, digital graphic tablet or the stone-age pencil on paper - I use whatever "gear" suits your music!

Only the highest quality art supplies find their way into my studio.
I choose only colors with very high pigment amount and excellent durability. Almost all of my papers are made by German quality company Hahnemühle.
For digital art, I rely on a Wacom graphic tablet and my favorite open-source art program Krita.

Question 03
What about AI?
AI can be very helpful for humanity in fields like medicine, pest control or technology.

However, in art and music, people start getting tired of its artificial copycat content, and demand for real artists instead.
Comment sections on YouTube and Instagram get filled more and more with criticizm if a musician defaults on the use of AI. They say it feels cheap and soulless, and they want to see the real musician instead.

You don't sell a product to your fans, you sell the feeling to belong to your circle. You sell emotion.

Your cover artwork is the first thing people see about your music and it's what they connect it to. A handpainted cover art is a selling point!
Question 04
I don't see any price lists...?
The complexity and effort of a creative process can vary extremely, which makes preset prices impossible.

Simply get in touch with me and let me know your budget and ideas!

I'll come up with a few variations and give you a fixed price for each.

Question 05
How much time does an artwork take?
The amount of time depends on two things:

- The amount of details in the artwork
- How developed the idea of the artwork already is

I highly recommend getting in touch as soon as you know you'll need an artwork. For example, if you're working on an album and know you'll need a cover art, I can start the project as soon as your first few songs are finished and I get an overall feel for your music.

If you need to get an estimation on your own project's time frame, simply get in touch!
Question 05
Why did you decide to create art for musicians?
Ever known that struggle of too many passions?
I invented that.

I'm an artist - and a musician.

This is my way of connecting both worlds.

Piano is my first instrument; the E-guitar came a few years later.
I own a Yamaha piano and a Music Man LIII HSS along with a Line 6 multieffect pedalboard.

Last year, I produced my very first single.
I postponed the release until I can properly focus on its marketing.
